First Look: Bill & Ted Face the Music
We are almost exactly eight months away from the release of Bill & Ted Face the Music, the seemingly forever-in-the-works third film in the Bill & Ted franchise, and I think it’s a safe bet we’ll see a teaser trailer sometime between now and the end of 2019. But even if I’m wrong and there’s no teaser until January or even February, we can all sate our appetite for new B&T with these three stills from the flick, which have just been released by Entertainment Weekly. In addition to giving us a first look at our returning stars — including not just Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter as the titular heroes, but William Sadler as Death and a phone booth as THE Phone Booth! — it gives us our first look at some new characters, including Bill and Ted’s daughters (Samara Weaving and Brigette Lundy-Paine), and Kid Cudi, who is apparently playing… Kid Cudi:
“Other franchise newbies joining the fun are ‘Saturday Night Live‘ cast member Beck Bennett, who portrays Ted’s younger brother, Deacon, and musician-actor Kid Cudi. ‘He plays Kid Cudi,’ says director Dean Parisot. ‘He gets mysteriously thrown around through various times, because all time and space is coming unglued.’”
Hm. Not sure what to make of that.
Guess we’ll find out when Bill & Ted Face the Music comes out on August 21! In the meantime, enjoy the pics below:
