Watch Trivium Drummer Alex Bent Record a Cover of “Toss a Coin to Your Witcher”

I made an insubstantial effort to watch The Witcher on Netflix because it seemed like the kind of thing I might like, but Superman kept doing this Clint Eastwood mumbling thing so I was having a hard time following the plot and then some friends called and invited me to dinner and I never returned to it. But it seems like it’s gotten really popular! Good for Superman. I never thought it was his fault that those DC movies sucked.

ANYWAY, I mention it because last night Trivium drummer Alex Bent tracked drums for a cover of “Toss a Coin to Your Witcher,” the show’s theme song, on the Twitch channel of Trivium frontman Matt Heafy. I assume that means Heafy, or maybe even Trivium as a whole, is/are doing a cover of the song, which will be available for public consumption at some point. But maybe not.

In any case, if that sounds like the kind of thing you might like to watch, you can do so below. And if not, well, no hard feelings. You already clicked on this post. The five kids I have to feed thank you. Toss a coin to your blogger.
