Actress Margot Robbie Mentions Slipknot & Metallica On The Tonight Show

Actress Margot Robbie and metal are no strange bedfellows, with The Wolf of Wall Street and Suicide Squad star having professed her love for Slipknot on national TV to Jimmy Fallon back in 2016, saying, “They’re just amazing performers. Even if you don’t like metal, I think you’d appreciate a Slipknot concert,” an assertion with which we’d most certainly agree. She’s also a huge Bullet For My Valentine fan who completely flipped out when the band dedicated a song to her at a show.

Robbie, metal and Fallon intersected once again last night, February 5, when the actress, promoting her role in the upcoming film Birds of Prey, name-checked Slipknot and Metallica on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The shout-out occurred during a game show-style segment called “Know It All” in which both contestants, Robbie and Fallon, were asked to name “bands that rock,” with Robbie thinking so much of Metallica’s ability to do that that she named them twice.
