Our Last Night Have Released a Metal Cover of Billie Eilish’s James Bond Song

Will Daniel Craig’s allegedly-final outing as James Bond, No Time to Die, be any good? I have no idea! But I do know this: the movie’s theme song, by teen sensation Billie Eilish, is a fine addition to a long lineage of title tracks (or, in some cases where it would presumably be too difficult to lyricize the name of the flick, not-really title tracks) performed by various pop and rock superstars. Like, I’m generally indifferent to Eilish, but I’ve listened to this song multiple times, and it’s pretty great.

So, naturally, there is now a metal/hard rock cover of the song… this one provided by New Hampshire’s Our Last Night. Honestly, I think it’s pretty bad… and not just bad, but bad in such a way as to really call attention to everything that makes Eilish’s original good. Like, Our Last Night’s version is heavily dependent on auto-tune, whereas Eilish can actually sing (a fact made all the more apparent by her recent live performance of the track at the BRIT Awards).

But, uh… maybe you’ll like this version? Hey, live and let die.

Check it out Our Last Night’s Billie Eilish’s “No Time to Die” below. No Time to Die the movie comes out April 10.
