Nightwish Debut New Song “Ad Astra,” Announce Partnership With World Land Trust

Nightwish have announced a partnership with World Land Trust, “an international conservation charity that protects the world’s most biologically significant and threatened habitats acre by acre.” A video for the band’s new track “Ad Astra” (Latin for “To the Stars”) includes a lot of information about WLT and the work they’re doing; what else this partnership will entail is currently unclear… but you can learn more about the World Land Trust, and make a donation if you’re so inclined, here.

Scroll down to the bottom of this post to check out the “Ad Astra” video. The track will appear on Nightwish’s new souble album, Human. :II: Nature., which comes out April 10. The band has four live dates in North America coming up in September before they launch a tour of Europe and the U.K. in November. All their upcoming dates are as follows:
