Update, 1:43 pm EDT: The Acacia Strain’s two remaining shows with Chamber have both been cancelled.

Tour cancellations and postponements resulting from the coronavirus continue to come in at a clip — so much so that you’re probably just better off assuming the concert to which you have a ticket is off for now unless you hear otherwise, as opposed to the other way ’round. Still, we’re trying to keep up with all the cancellations and postponements as best we can, and the latest updates are all below.

MetalSucks is keeping a running list of metal and hard rock tours worldwide canceled or postponed as a result of the coronavirus outbreak. This post will be updated on a continual basis as updates come in. We’ve made it a “sticky post” — meaning it will appear at the top of the MS landing page for the foreseeable future, even as we continue to share other stories — but be sure to bookmark the above page and check back for frequent updates in the coming days and weeks.

So:

  • Foo Fighters are postponing dates on the upcoming their 25th anniversary Van Tour. Three of the April dates have already been re-scheduled: the April 12 show at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, AZ will now take place on December 5, the April 14 show at the Santa Ana Star Center in Albuquerque, NM will now take place on December 3, and the April 16 show at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, OK will now take place on December 1. The remaining April dates, and May dates, will all be rescheduled shortly, according to a press release.
  • The remaining dates on Black Label Society’s current tour with Obituary and Lord Dying have been postponed. BLS says that “Rescheduled dates will be announced next week so please hold on to your tickets.”
  • After calling off a tour of the U.K. and Europe with Left Behind, Leeched and Mental Cruelty last week, The Acacia Strain have now cancelled their North American trek with Rotting Out, Chamber, Fuming Mouth, and Creeping Death as well. However, they have announced two shows with Chamber, set to take place tonight and Wednesday (March 16 and 18) to get gas money so they can get home (there was also a show without Chamber in Las Vegas last night, March 15). These shows will take place at Streets in Denver, CO (March 16) and Vaudeville Mews in Des Moines, IA (March 18). They will not include guitairst Devin Shidaker, who remains at home in California. Although The Acacia Strain encourage fans to come to these concerts and “Buy merch and have fun,” they also urge that you “DO NOT come if you don’t feel well.”
  • “Origin and Defeated Sanity are still committed to keep going as far as we can” on their current trek, the bands have said in a statement. However, the other two bands on the tour, Beneath the Massacre and Wake, have both dropped off the bill. Remaining Origin/Defeated Sanity dates as they currently stand are available here.
  • Týr’s recently announced North American tour with Heidevolk, Trollfest, and Metsatöll has been “postponed until further notice due to the travel restrictions issued by the United States government.”
  • Belphegor and Suffocation’s co-headlining European tour with Hate has been cancelled.
  • Battle Beast’s tour of Finland, which notably wasn’t even scheduled to commence until November, has been called off. As far we’re aware, their upcoming North American tour with Kamelot and Sonata Arctica is still ago, at least for now.
  • Ringworm have called off their dates with All Out War and High Command.
  • YOB say they “have decided to reschedule our upcoming March US shows for July except for Treefort Music Fest which has rescheduled for September 23 – 27, and Salt Lake City which we will reschedule for a September date we hope to announce soon.”
  • 1349 have cancelled a set of U.S. tour dates scheduled for May 13 – 16.

That’s it for now. Once again, we urge you to keep up with our running list of worldwide cancelations in the metal and hard rock worlds so you can stay up to date on the latest and adjust your plans accordingly.
