Rammstein’s Till Lindemann in Intensive Care with Coronavirus

0

Update, 3:21pm EDT: Rammstein have issued a statement indicating that Lindemann does not have the coronavirus after all. He was, however, admitted to a Berlin hospital’s intensive care unit last night with a high fever.

Original Post:

Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann is in intensive care at a hospital in Berlin, Germany.

The singer tested positive for coronavirus after returning to Germany from a European tour with Lindemann, his side project with Peter Tägtgren of Hypocrisy. The tour was canceled with three dates remaining after its March 17 date in Novosibirsk, Russia, due to worldwide concerns of spreading contagion.

Bild reports that Lindemann “was brought to hospital by emergency medics with an extremely high fever,” showed signs of pneumonia and was immediately quarantined, but added that the 57-year-old is “currently feeling better and his life is no longer in danger.”

Neither Rammstein or Lindemann have commented on the matter. We wish Till all the best in his recovery!

Rammstein have a massive European tour in June and July and a North American tour scheduled for late summer, which as of right now are both still on despite coronavirus concerns independent of Lindemann’s illness. Should you want to try your hand at tickets on the secondary market for those dates, should they take place, now is a great time to score some deals:
