Rock and Metal Celebrities React to the Murder of George Floyd and Minneapolis Riots

0

As riots erupt around the U.S., citizens continue to be outraged by the murder of Minneapolis resident George Floyd at the hands of a police officer, the latest in a never-ending procession of law enforcement’s brutal and unjust treatment of black people.

A number of notable rock and metal celebrities have shared their thoughts on the matter via social media. While views within the metal community typically run the gamut across the political spectrum, if any high-profile musicians are taking law enforcement’s side, they’re keeping quiet… except for Trapt frontman Chris Taylor Brown, of course.

Here’s a collection of some bands and artists in the rock and metal community that have shared their feelings on Floyd’s murder and the ongoing riots over the past couple of days.
