Video: Metallica’s Lars Ulrich Guests on Full Frontal With Samantha Bee

Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich guested on the political/satire program Full Frontal With Samantha Bee last night, Wednesday, July 15, to discuss the band’s recent volunteer efforts with Feeding America. In the two-and-a-half-minute clip, Lars outlines what the band has been doing through their All Within My Hands foundation to help out America’s food insecure, which will comprise one-sixth of our population and one in four kids in 2020. Bee inserted a number of clever Metallica-related jokes into the segment. Watch below.

Bee is no stranger to metal. In a 2012 episode of The Daily Show, she filled out “Cannibal Corpse, Morbid Angel and Obituary” as interests on her “Lady Data Sheet” to lampoon then-presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
