  • Axl Rosenberg

Slipknot/ Stone Sour singer Corey Taylor has been teasing plans to finally release some of his long-in-the-works solo material, and now those plans have come to fruition! The Single Greatest, Most Talented, Handsomest, Smartest, Best Hung Human Being on Earth™ has released not one, but TWO solo tunes!!!

The first, “CMFT Must Be Stopped,” is an energetic anthem that features rappers Tech N9ne and Kid Bookie. The video also includes cameos from Metallica’s Lars Ulrich, Judas Priest’s Rob Halford, Anthrax’s Scott Ian, Marilyn Manson, Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale, John 5, Otep Shamaya, and others, as well as some dancing by Cherry Bombs, the troupe led by Corey’s wife, Alicia Dove.

The second, “Black Eyes Blue,” is more of a mid-tempo, classic rockish ditty.

You can check out both tracks below. Naturally, they will change your life forever and all time.

Corey’s debut solo album, CMFT, comes out October 2 on Roadrunner, and can be pre-ordered here.
