Watch Metallica Rehearse “Creeping Death” While Under Quarantine

Metallica have released a video of themselves recently rehearsing “Creeping Death” in their practice space. The video shows three of the band’s four members wearing face masks — the exception being James Hetfield. I dunno if that’s because Hetfield leans conservative or has already had coronavirus and therefore feels he’s unlikely to contract it again or what. At first I thought it was because he has to sing, but then I thought, a) well, no he doesn’t, they could just play the song without vocals, and b) Robert Trujillo looks ready to provide backing vocals, and he‘s wearing a mask.

ANYWAY, you can check out the video below. The band has reportedly spent the lockdown working on new material, so who knows, we might get a new ‘Tallica studio record sooner rather than later. In the meantime, their S&M² box set comes out on August 28, and can be pre-ordered here.
