Vio-lence Stream Cover of Dead Kennedys’ “California Über Alles”

It’s good day for super-duper-heavy covers: first, we got Thou’s take on “No Excuses” by Alice in Chains, and now we have a new version of Dead Kennedys’ “California Über Alles,” courtesy of Vio-lence. It terms doesn’t deviate that far from the Dead Kennedys’ original, but they have definitely metaled it the fuck up.

You can check out the song via the below Scott Kirkeeng-directed video, which was filmed at The Back Lounge, the bar owned by Vio-lence guitarist Phil Demmel (ex-Machine Head) and his wife, Marta (Bleeding Through). The track is also available via all the usual DSPs.
