This Is Not a Joke: Donald Trump Called “November Rain” by Guns N’ Roses the “Greatest Music Video of All Time”

The video for “November Rain” by Guns N’ Roses is about a weird rich guy who marries a supermodel who then dies under mysterious circumstances.

Needless to say, Donald Trump believes it is the “greatest music video of all time.”

This according to Newsweek — FUCKING NEWSWEEK — who report that Trump has taken to playing the song at rallies recently… and has expressed admiration for it in the past as well:

“Former White House Press Secretary [Sarah Huckabee Sanders] wrote in her book—Speaking for Myself: Faith, Freedom, and the Fight of Our Lives Inside the Trump White House—that Trump told her the video for ‘November Rain’ was ‘the greatest music video of all time’ and made her watch it with him in the Oval Office to prove his point, though she ‘”didn’t disagree.’”

Trump isn’t alone in admiring the clip — it’s garnered over a billion views on YouTube, and was the first video from the ’90s to pass that milestone.

Still, Trump is presumably somehow unaware that Axl Rose and Guns N’ Roses have made it clear they don’t like him; it’s impossible to imagine The Orange One being down with anyone who won’t lick the inside of his asshole and claim it was delicious.

I mean, Rose tweets almost exclusively to insult Trump and his team. He has feuded online with two separate members of the administration. He has compared Melania Trump to a prostitute. And, oh yeah, maybe most relevantly of all… in 2018, after Trump arrived to the stage to “Sweet Child O’ Mine,” Rose told Trump not to use his music at his rallies.

Meanwhile, the band has sold t-shirts implying Trump is responsible for thousands of deaths and invited fans in Mexico on stage to help them destroy a Trump piñata.

Rose is notoriously litigious. It’s hard for me to imagine his lawyers won’t get involved here.
