Rob Zombie Posts New Single Teaser

0

After announcing last week that he’ll be releasing a new single this coming Friday, October 30, Rob Zombie has now shared a brief teaser that could hint at what’s in store.

In a post to Instagram, Robert Zombert, as he’s affectionately known around these parts, revealed a looped video with a grainy, old-timey effect and the words “The Triumph of King Freak, A Crypt of Preservation and Superstition” written in a matching old-timey style font, with the same in the caption. Song name? Album title? We’ll find out soon enough. You can watch that video at the bottom of this post.

Zombie guitarist John 5 recently revealed that the shock rocker’s new album would be released “Very, very, very soon.” Meanwhile, in a 2019 interview with Revolver, he described the record thusly:

“[It’s] Heavy, very heavy. It’s just a heavy Zombie record with great hooks. It’s very, very musical, and a hard-hitting Zombie record. I think people are really gonna dig it. I’m a Zombie fan, and if I heard it, I’d be like, ‘Oh my God, this is brutal.’ I’m really excited about it!”

This will be Zombie’s first new offering since The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser, released in April of 2016.

Zombie’s latest, the title of which has yet to be revealed, reunites him Warlock producer Zeuss (Hatebreed, The Acacia Strain, Soulfly, etc.).
