If Type O Negative Wrote Metallica’s “The Unforgiven,” It Would Sound Like This

Denis Pauna struck YouTube gold last month when he released a video hypothesizing as to how it would sound if Type O Negative had written Metallica’s “Master of Puppets.”

Now Pauna has made a sequel, this one tackling how “The Unforgiven” might have sounded in the hands of Peter Steele and company.

Pauna continues to do a bang up job on his impression of Steele, but I confess, I wish he’d stick a little closer to the originals with these. Remember, when Type O covered Seals & Croft’s “Summer Breeze,” they didn’t radically change the music — they just slowed it down and gothed it up.
