A Protective Fence Has Been Put Around the Graves of Dimebag and Vinnie Paul
The side-by-side graves of Pantera’s “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott and Vinnie Paul Abbott are now enclosed by a protective fence.
The duo’s mother, Carolyn Abbott, is also within in the fence.
Reasons for the erection of the fence have not been made public, although we can likely assume it’s to prevent vandalism — as you may recall, Dime’s grave was desecrated by former Nuclear Hellfrost frontman Reece Eber in 2015.
You can view photos of the graves and their new enclosure below.
Dimebag was viciously murdered on stage in 2004 while playing a show with his and his brother’s post-Pantera project, Damageplan. He was just 38-years-old.
Vinnie Paul died in 2018, at the age of 54, as the result of a heart attack.
