Exclusive Premiere: Loss Becomes, “Promises” (Tiger Flowers, Chef Brian Tsao, Wings Denied)
Back in December — that seems like eons ago given what’s gone on in the world, we know — we introduced MetalSucks readers to Loss Becomes, a promising new band featuring members of Tiger Flowers, Wings Denied, and noted metal chef Brian Tsao (on guitar), with Anthony Copozzi (Thracian) on vocals. You can check out the band’s debut single, “Focus,” right here.
Today MetalSucks is pleased to premiere Loss Becomes’ newest entry, “Promises,” a two-and-a-half-minute rager that leans on angular, dissonant riffs and throat-searing screams to propel the style of beatdown metal-meets-hardcore the band traffics in. Are you having trouble motivating and getting started today? Crank “Promises” and you’ll be fired up in no time, and you might even feel a little better about the state of the world.
You can watch the visualizer, directed by Adam Wolfson, below. “Promises” comes out tomorrow, Friday, January 15; pre-save it here. Loss Becomes have promised a full-length album later this year.
