Converge Do NOT Make Internet Now

  • Axl Rosenberg

Converge have been forced to issue a statement clarifying that they are a hardcore band and not an Internet service provider.

No. We’re not kidding.

It seems that there’s a company called Converge ICT Solutions, which provides Internet in the Philippines. And when the company recently experienced some service outages, customers took to social media to complain (so I guess the service outages weren’t that severe?).

Problem is, a lot of them did their complaining to Converge the band, who, again, do not provide Internet service (see screenshots below).

In response, Converge have issued the following statement:

“Hey everyone… still just a hardcore band over here. Covid has not forced us to become an internet provider in the Philippines yet, but we hope everyone over there gets their internet access back. While you’re here though click the link to our webstore and grab yourself a cool T-shirt or something. ????????????????.”

Hopefully that clears that up, and people start directing their angry messages to the right company. Well… either that, or some investors come along and help Converge launch their own Internet service company. If they’re as good as providing Internet as they are at writing music, they’ll never suffer outages.

Oh, and here is the link to that webstore, BTW.
