Mammoth WVH, the project led by Wolfgang Van Halen, appeared on last night’s (February 11th) episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! to perform their hit song, “Distance,” a tribute to his late father which is currently #3 at mainstream rock radio.

A June 11 release date is scheduled for the band’s self-titled debut. The Kimmel performance also marked the announcement of the band’s live lineup, which features the following in addition to Wolfgang on guitars and vocals:

Jon Jourdan (To Whom It May): guitar
Frank Sidoris (Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators): guitar
Ronnie Ficarro (Falling in ReversE): bass
Garrett Whitlock (ex-Submersed, ex-Eye Empire): drums

The most striking part of Mammoth WVH’s debut performance is easily Wolfgang’s vocals. WOW, right? Dude can belt it. Impressive!
