Genghis Tron Share New Song “Ritual Circle”

Here’s how Genghis Tron guitarist Hamilton Jordan describes the band’s new single, “Ritual Circle”:

“When writing and recording this album, one of our aims was to create a deep sonic world the listener can really get lost in. ‘Ritual Circle’ embodies that for me—it still takes me to another place whenever I listen. Find some headphones, turn it up, and zone out!”

That’s really not hype — “Ritual Circle” nearly ten-and-a-half-minutes long, and if you let it, it truly will induce a kind of hypnosis. It sounds like Tangerine Dream, Chvrches, and Justin K. Broadrick all collaborated on a film score. I mean that as very, very high praise.

Listen to “Ritual Circle” below. It’s the second single off of Dream Weapon, the band’s first new album in over a decade and first album to feature new members Tony Wolski (vocals) and Nick Yacyshyn (drums, Sumac, Baptists, etc.) alongside original members Jordan and Michael Sochynsky (synths/programming).
