Metallica Meet Van Halen in New Mash-up “Enter Panaman”
Speaking of Metallica and Van Halen…
More than thirty years after the two bands toured together, someone has at last melded the music of Van Halen and Metallica… specifically, YouTube’s The-Art-of-Guitar, who recently released this amalgamation of Van Halen’s “Panama” and Metallica’s “Enter Sandman.” And hot damn!, does it ever work.
In fact, it works so well that I just had a little daydream in which James Hetfield and not Gary Cherone replaced Sammy Hagar in 1996. Everyone would have called it Van Hetfield!
