Report: The Osbournes Reality TV Show May Return

Following Sharon Osbourne’s recent unceremonious exit from The Talk, sources are reporting that Ozzy’s wife and manager is receiving numerous offers to revive the wildly popular early ’00s reality TV show The Osbournes and that she is open to bringing it back.

In March, CBS fired Osbourne in the wake of a multitude of allegations that Osbourne has repeatedly used racist and homophobic language when dealing with her co-hosts behind-the-scenes. Osbourne was part of the show for eleven seasons, and was the sole remaining original co-host to exit. Osbourne blamed “woke” and “cancel” culture for her dismissal.

According to The Sun, Osbourne has been “flooded” with offers to bring back The Osbournes since leaving The Talk and that she is “open to talks” to entertain the idea. The report claims that “several production companies have pitched treatments and proposals” for a reboot of the show, which ran from 2002 to 2005 and brought Ozzy, Sharon, their daughter Kelly and son Jack to worldwide mainstream fame. Kelly, 36, and Jack, 35, no longer live with their parents, but where there is money, there is a way.

“Industry experts predict Sharon and her clan could bank as much $20m in a rights and payment deal,” claims The Sun, who note that Sharon had been earning $6 million per year on The Talk.

A spokesman for Sharon simply commented, “We will announce future projects at the appropriate time.”

The family reunited for a series on The Travel Channel last year called The Osbournes Want To Believe, centered around Jack. Ozzy and Jack also starred on a travel show called World Detour in recent years.
