Video: Guitarist Shreds Guns N’ Roses “Sweet Child O’ Mine” With His Feet

Some days I’m down in the dumps on the state of my life, overwhelmed by the rigors of work, childcare, family and whatever other bullshit comes my way.

Then I see a video like this one from Brazilian guitarist Johnatha Bastos and I reconsider everything.

Bastos, you see, has no arms, but has overcome that disability by teaching himself to play guitar with his feet. And when I say play guitar, I mean PLAY GUITAR; the dude can flat out rip it.

In a video posted a couple of months back, Bastos tears through the Guns N’ Roses classic “Sweet Child O’ Mine,” and not only nails Slash’s iconic intro, but deftly performs Axl’s vocal lines as guitar leads and handles the guitar solo with no issues whatsoever. What’s more, his technique is fantastic; solid bends, vibrato, dynamic, feel, everything. Just brilliant!

Give the video a watch below and check out more from Bastos on his YouTube channel.
