Watch a Kid Get His High School Diploma to Slipknot’s “People = Sh*t”

A Reddit user, DylanRTPJ, has shared video of himself receiving his high school diploma… while Slipknot’s “People = Shit” blasted over the PA system.

“Graduated from high school yesterday, had to make one last impression!” he wrote in the caption.

In my day, we didn’t get to choose the soundtrack for being handed our diploma. I’m incredibly jealous this kid wasn’t forced to listen to that terrible Vitamin C song during what should be a glorious moment in the life of a young person. For the record, I probably would have gone with Body Count’s “There Goes the Neighborhood” if given a choice.

ANYWAY, you can watch the video below.

Slipknot are currently working on new music and they also have 1 – 7 albums’ worth of unreleased material including the fabled reportedly-reminiscent-of-Radiohead album Look Outside Your Window and a song about Paul Gray. More importantly, THEY’RE WORKING ON NEW MASKS!!!

Slipknot will bring their own Knotfest festival to their native Iowa in September, then embark on a tour with Killswitch Engage, Fever 333 and Code Orange opening immediately thereafter.
