Fear Factory Fail to Debut on Billboard 200 for the First Time in 26 Years

Aggression Continuum, the heavily-anticipated, drama-fueled new album from Fear Factory, sold 6,200 unit (5,200 in pure sales) in its first week of release, failing to land a position on the Billboard 200 chart.

Notably, Lambgoat points out that this is the first time the band has had an album fail to make it onto that chart since Demanufacture way back in 1995.

The band’s last album, 2015’s Genexus, sold 10,875 copies in its first week of release.

The band can take consolation, however, in the fact that Aggression Continuum took the #15 spot on the Billboard Top Albums chart, which is actually their HIGHEST position on that chart to date.
