Testament’s Chuck Billy is in the New Episode of Marvel’s What If…?

Have people been enjoying Disney+’s Marvel’s What If…?? The premise of the animated series, for those of you not paying attention (Hi, Vince!), is basically “what if” one detail of a previously released, much beloved Marvel movie was different. E.g., “What if Guardians of the Galaxy but Black Panther?”, “What if Captain America but a lady?”, shit like that.

True to the comic title of the same name, the show’s last couple of episodes have gotten really dark, ostensibly suggesting that changing one little detail of a hero’s story could lead to lots and lots of death. It’s pretty goddamn metal.

Why am I rambling about this? Well…

The PRP reports that the one and only Chuck Billy, of Testament fame, performed “additional voices” in the latest episode of What If…?, “What If… Doctor Strange Lost His Heart Instead of His Hands?”.

Did I watch the episode at my desk on Wednesday when I should have been working? Yes. Did I catch Billy’s voice? No. Was I listening for Billy’s voice? Also no. Off the top of my head, can I remember any particular character Billy might have played? Still no. Will I watch the episode again and this time listen real close fo Billy? Sure, why not?
