Enlarge Good song, GREAT lyric video.

“Nobody Can See Me Cry,” but Everybody Can Listen to This New Song by the Darkness

The Darkness have released a new song, “Nobody Can See Me Cry.” I didn’t really like the track at first but after a few listen it’s grown on me. I especially like the section that starts around the 1:51 mark, because it sounds like a funk cover of Metallica’s “Jump in the Fire.”

Better than “Nobody Can See Me Cry” the song, however, is “Nobody Can See Me Cry” the lyric video, because it’s just three-minutes-and-twenty-seconds of The Darkness’ members (Justin Hawkins, Not Justin Hawkins, Blond Guy, and, of course, Guy Who Looks Like Jeremy Strong Playing Jerry Rubin) weeping. If you, like me, feed on the anguish of others, this is a delicious snack.

See “Nobody Can See Me Cry” below. The track will appear on The Darkness’ new album, Motorheart, which is out November 19th via Cooking Vinyl. Pre-order it here.
