Clutch Debut Two More New Songs Live

0

Clutch have taken full advantage of their recent slate of touring by debuting a whole bunch of new material live, instead of the customary official internet releases. They’ve played four new songs so far, to be exact: “Boss Metal Zone,” “Strive for Excellence,” and two more the band unveiled this past weekend, “Nosferatu Madre” and “Slaughter Beach.”

“Nosferatu Madre” received its premiere at Clutch’s performance at the Blue Ridge Rock Festival in Danville, VA on September 10, and the band whipped out “Slaughter Beach” on September 16 at The Orange Peel in Asheville, NC. Fan-filmed clips of both have inevitably worked their way onto the YouTubes in the time since, and you can watch both of those below.

Clutch haven’t yet announced a new album, but the fact that they’re road-testing so many new cuts would seem to indicate a new record will come sooner rather than later. Their latest, Book of Bad Decision, arrived in 2018.
