Sight of Emptiness Unveil Hard-Hitting New Track, “Broken Mirror”

Costa Rican melodeath masters Sight of Emptiness have long been favorites of the MetalSucks staff, and their latest entry, the standalone single “Broken Mirror,” is certainly no exception.

But “Broken Mirror” is no ordinary Sight of Emptiness track, finding the band experiment with black metal tonality and groovy, punchy production mixed in with their patented death metal attack. This is a new and improved Sight of Emptiness, hardened and scarred by the pandemic that’s gripped us all.

The band comments of the track simply, Have you ever wondered what happens when the mirror that holds reality breaks?

“Broken Mirror” was mastered by Thomas Plec Johansson (Soilwork, Mayhem, Watain) at The Panic Room in Sweden. Give it a spin below and be on the lookout for more music from Sight of Emptiness ASAP.
