New Jersey’s Fit for an Autopsy have released a new song called “In Shadows.” It has some melody and an excellent hook, but it also still sounds like someone just dropped a massive block of concrete on your head.

Comments the band:

“This song is an abstract journey through darkness, where one is eventually able to discover their true self through the lowest and lost points in life. You are the beginning and end of your own suffering.”

Watch the video for “In Shadows” below. The track will appear on Fit for an Autopsy’s new album, Oh What the Future Holds, which is out January 14.

FFAA will provide support for a pair of upcoming Trivium livestream shows, set to take place later this month. Get details here.

The band will then tour with Enterprise Earth, Ingested, Signs of the Swarm, and Great American Ghost this winter. Dates:
