Footage and Setlist from Tool’s First Show in Nearly Two Years

Tool kicked off their North American tour last, January 10, night in Eugene, OR, some 22 months after their 2020 tour was cut short following a gig just up the interstate in Portland.

The setlist for the show went heavy on newer material from their latest album Fear Inoculum and some older deep cuts while largely eschewing hits (the band did not perform “Prison Sex,” “Sober” and “Schism”). Here’s the full list:

1. “Fear Inoculum”
2. “Opiate” (extended version)
3. “The Pot”
4. “Pushit” (First time since 2014, album version)
5. “Pneuma”
6. “The Grudge”
7. “Right In Two” (First time since 2011)
8. “Hooker With A Penis” (First time since 2014)
9. “Descending”

10. “Chocolate Chip Trip”
11. “Eon Blue Apocalypse”
12. “The Patient”
13. “Invincible”

Fan-filmed footage has of course already made its way online, and you can watch some of that below.

Guitarist Adam Jones posted footage of the band’s final rehearsal a few days ago.
