Hath Drop Proggy Death Metal Ripper,”Lithopaedic”

0

One of my personal favorite up and coming bands from the death metal realm, Hath, have dropped a brand new single and video, “Lithopaedic.” It’s an absolute ripper of a song that distills the visceral riffing, adventurous song structuring and uncanny sense for a hook (by death metal standards) that brought Hath into the public eye with their stellar 2019 entry, Of Rot and Ruin. And there’s an absolutely beastly breakdown to cap the tune off. You will like.

The band comments:

“‘Lithopaedic’ is a song about a meeting of alternate selves and the transformative ordeal that follows. In a way, the music reflects this, with its focused intensity showing signs of another direction for us to explore or incorporate. It might be the heaviest song on the new record and we’re really excited to share it.”

All That Was Promised comes out on March 4 via Willowtip Records; pre-order here. Previous single “Kenosis” was a ripper too.
