Video: Municipal Waste Party With All Your Favorite Dead Metal Stars In “Grave Dive”
To this day, Municipal Waste‘s animated video for “You’re Cut Off” is one of my favorite music videos of all time. So I’m stoked to learn that the band have re-teamed with animators Pierre Mousquet and Imov Studios for the video for their new track “Grave Dive.”
The running theme of the video is simple: Municipal Waste play a thrash show in a graveyard, and all your favorite dead metal stars come back as zombies, from Lemmy tending bar in Hell to the Live Undead zombie line-up of Slayer. Of course, there are also tons of horror icons, zombified metal scene veterans, and the animated version of Obituary showing up to enjoy the madness. It’s fun to watch from start to finish, which is really all you can ask for from a music video.
