Two Classics from Black Sabbath’s Dio Years Are Getting the Reissue Treatment

0

Two of Black Sabbath‘s best releases with Ronnie James Dio behind the mic will be getting the special edition reissue treatment next month, as it seems like the metal world is reminiscing about the larger than life frontman.

Both Heaven and Hell and Mob Rules will get newly remastered versions, each with additional tracks of rare and unreleased music. Dio joined Sabbath back in 1979 after Ozzy was ousted from the group and remained the band’s frontman until 1982. He did go on to record another album with Sabbath, Dehumanizer, but that one came out roughly a decade later.

As for these reissues, Heaven and Hell: Deluxe Edition will be available on November 4, while Mob Rules: Deluxe Edition will be available two weeks later on November 18. If you’d like, you can get your hands on a preorder of both albums today via BMG.
