Kiss, Mötley Crüe, Slipknot, and 176 Other Bands Will Perform at Hellfest 2023

Say what you will about the French, but they sure know how to put on one of the biggest metal festivals in the world. Earlier this week, organizers formally announced their lineup of nearly 180 bands set to take the various stages at Hellfest 2023.

Hosted annually at Clisson, France, this year’s shindig will take place on the weekend of June 15-18, 2023, with KISS, Mötley Crüe, Iron Maiden, and Slipknot headlining each night respectively. Other major bands set to kick some ass that weekend include Pantera, Def Leppard, In Flames, and Clutch, just to name a few.

The pandemic forced organizers to scrap their Hellfest plans for 2020 and 2021, though this year saw a return with concerts that ran for seven days across two weekends. This year’s iteration will last four days. As you can imagine, plenty of major European tours will use Hellfest as one of their main stops, as the Mötley Crüe/Def Leppard tour, the KISS “End of the Road” tour, and Pantera’s highly lauded tribute tour through Europe will converge on Clisson.
