Currents Dropped Their Video for “So Alone”

0

Earlier today, metalcore band Currents released the music video for “So Alone,” off their upcoming album The Death We Seek. It’s the latest single off the album, which will be available on May 5 via SharpTone.

Since humans are social animals, the idea of being on your own can be a depressing one. As such, vocalist Brian Wille said the song deals with — shocker — being alone.

“‘So Alone’ explores isolation, whether self-induced or through outside factors. It expresses the pain of not being able to relate to those we love or to even be in their presence, and bemoans that separation in whatever form it takes. It also touches on the cyclical nature of our ups and downs, in the sense that we can feel we’ve made the same choices that lead us to the same places over and over again, despite how much we wish to have a different outcome.”

If you’re already a fan of Currents, then you likely know what you’re getting into. It’s a good song to round out your work day with.

The Death We Seek will be released on May 5 via SharpTone, but you can preorder your copy today.

Currents are also gearing up for a tour this spring. You can check out the dates below.
