Ingested’s Jason Evans Takes a Stroll Through Manchester in the “With Broken Wings” Video
One week before they’re set to cross the pond and tour the U.S. and Canada, Ingested released a music video for the track “With Broken Wings” off their latest release Ashes Lie Still. Featuring the band’s hometown of Manchester, the video shows frontman Jason Evans taking to the streets to deliver the band’s take on modern U.K. death metal.
Speaking of his home, Evans said it was important that he and his bandmates get to highlight where they came from, since it played such a huge role in their formation.
“Manchester has always been a big part of our identity, so we wanted to the video to be a nod and a homage to our roots and the music we grew up listening to as kids. We filmed it on location on a street in a Manchester housing estate, in one continuous take. No bells or whistles, just a dirty Manc, on a Mancunian street, with some fucking heavy riffs! This is our home. Enjoy!”
Ingested is set to kick off “The Slam Tour Of The Year” next week in Brooklyn, New York. Tickets are currently available and you can check out the full list of dates below the video.
