Foo Fighters Release New Single “Under You,” Announce a Free Streaming Event This Weekend

As one of the world’s biggest rock bands active today, Foo Fighters have gone through an emotional gauntlet in recent years. From experiencing the high of releasing a feature film to the horrific lows that come with losing a beloved band member, things have been a roller coaster for Dave Grohl and the boys to say the least.

Now, months after their series of tribute shows moved everyone to tears and brought the house down in the U.K. and London, the band is getting ready to release their first album without Taylor Hawkins. We recently heard the new album’s first single, “Rescued” and today saw the drop of their second single, “Under You.”

Featuring a more upbeat tempo and more melodic sound, “Under You” is the kind of earworm you’d expect to hear from the Foo Fighters. This is certainly going to get people singing along during their upcoming tour.

In addition to the new single, the band announced that they’re going to be hosting a global streaming event titled Foo Fighters: Preparing Music For Concerts. The show will feature a whole mess of rock songs, including new ones from the band’s upcoming album But Here We Are. The show will also feature behind the scenes footage and “a few surprises.” It’s that last bit that makes us think we’re finally going to know who Taylor Hawkins’ replacement will be moving forward.

Foo Fighters: Preparing Music For Concerts will kick off this Sunday at 8 p.m. BST / 3 p.m. EST / 12 p.m. PST exclusively on the band’s VEEPS page. The show will be available for repeated viewing through May 24.

But Here We Are will release on June 2, but you can preorder your physical copy today on vinyl, CD, or cassette.
