For two special nights in Sweden, the country’s own In Flames will headline the annual Dalhalla Brinner this August, with some killer support coming from some huge acts both those nights. And as such, the municipality of Rättvik and its roughly 5,000 inhabitants will play host to a killer heavy metal festival.

Having been canceled and heavily restricted in recent years due to the pandemic, the festival is set to once again transform the former limestone quarry into an explosive two nights of loud music and revelry on Friday, August 25 and Saturday, August 26. Along with their countrymen in In Flames, locals can join out-of-towners in also enjoying sets by Killswitch Engage, Fit For An Autopsy, and MOL that Friday night and Hypocrisy, Sylosis, and Horndal that Saturday.

The two-day festival is but a stop in a long line of European summer festivals for some of these bands, but by simply looking at the venue and past footage of performances there, this proves to be an exceptional night of metal.

If you can make your way out to the show, tickets are starting at 690 SEK, which is approximately $65 USD. So for $130-ish dollars, you can catch both nights — not including airfare and hotel accommodations and travel…

Still, if you’re going to be in the area and want to make the trip out to Rättvik for the show, you can pick up your tickets online today.
