Another 3TEETH and Mick Gordon Collab Featured in the Band’s Latest Single “Slum Planet”

I guess all it takes to get your name added to some cool new music is to write an unforgettably heavy video game soundtrack. At least that’s what happened to Mick Gordon, who wrote the heavy metal soundtrack to 2016’s Doom and 2020’s Doom: Eternal video games and is now being featured in 3TEETH tracks, among other artists’ works.

Earlier today, the industrial metal outfit put out another single and music video, this time titled “Slum Planet.” In it, you’ve got the band pounding away on the track as Gordon’s signature warbly synth sounds.

This new single and video is the second offering from the band in anticipation of their upcoming fourth studio, the details of which we don’t really have at the moment.

Speaking on the new track,. vocalist Alexis Mincolla said the song was based on humanity’s poor stewardship of the planet and the potential future we may face if things continue where they’re going.

“An ecosystem? More like an ego-system. ‘Slum Planet’ is a monument to the hubris of mankind, to the ruthless exploitation of nature in the name of progress, to the willful blindness of those who chose profits over preservation.”
