Queens of the Stone Age Announce ‘The End is Nero’ North American Tour

0

It was only a matter of time after unveiling their upcoming album In Times New Roman…, but Queens of the Stone Age are heading back on the road for a 28-date run across North America.

Announced earlier today with support from Phantogram and The Armed for their east coast dates and Viagra Boys and Jehnny Beth for their mid-west and west coast dates, the “The End is Nero Tour” looks absolutely massive. Things are going to kick off on August 3 at the Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill in Sterling Heights, Michigan and continue on until its natural conclusion on August 8 at Aftershock in Sacremento, California.

Ticket pre-sales start today at 10 a.m. local time, with things opening up to the general public this Friday, June 9 at 10 a.m. local time.

If for some reason you can’t make it out to one of their shows, you can always attend a listening party for the new record at one of the band’s “Midnight Club” events. At various record stores and pubs in 23 countries around the world, QotSA fans will get a chance to listen to the new album at 11 p.m. on June 15 —one hour before it hits the general population. Exclusive vinyl variants and merch will be available at these events, as well as chances to win signed merchandise and free tickets to a nearby show.

In Times New Roman… will release on June 16, though you can preorder your copy today. The full list of tour dates can be found below this weird ass tour trailer.
