Slipknot Just Dropped Two New Music Videos and Adderall, a Surprise EP
Things have been… interesting with Slipknot this week.
Things kicked off when we learned that long time keyboardist and sampler Craig Jones was out of the band just before they were supposed to be hitting the stage in Austria, only for the post announcing his departure to be deleted hours later. Then images of an unknown member were posted without any clarification at all before the band launched a website to feature a new song called “Death March.”
Well it turns out that this morning was the big reveal, as Slipknot released a completely unexpected EP titled Adderall. Boasting six new tracks — three of which being reserved for different versions of the eponymous song “Adderall” — the EP is available everywhere you get your music. They even released two music videos: one for “Adderall – Rough Demo” and “Death March.”
And while that’s normally where the story would end, of course Slipknot had to add another wrinkle. Remember how the band was recently so excited to get out from under Roadrunner when they released The End, So Far? Yeah well it turns out this new EP was released under… you guessed it… Roadrunner. Not sure what that’s about…
