Fulci Return to North America for Their ‘Duck Face Killings Tour’ Next Week
Italiano death metal outfit Fulci are coming to our side of the planet next week to kick off their ‘Duck Face Killings tour’. Coming along for the ride will be Ohio-based death metal band Mutilation Barbecue.
Over the course of seven days, the band will kick off their North American run on May 10 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They’ll make stops in major cities like Chicago, Toronto, and Montreal, before the run of dates comes to an end on May 17 in Brooklyn, New York. The tour also includes the band’s appearance at Sonic Temple.
As for the story behind the tour’s oddball name, it’s more than just a reference to Fulci’s 2024 album of the same name. Following the theme of their namesake, which is based on Italian director Lucio Fulci, the album and tour is named after one of the director’s more fucked up flicks, The New York Ripper. And just like the film, Fulci’s music is gratuitous, gorey, and sure to shock.
The tour follows the band’s participation in the Devastation On The Nation 2024 tour, which featured an insane lineup consisting of Morbid Angel, Knoll, Suffocation, Mortiferum and Uada.
