Botch to Release a Live Album and Concert Film This Summer
Were you excited for Botch to reunite and play a buncha shows, only to never make it out to see them live? Maybe work or your personal life got in the way — happens to the best of us. If that’s your situation, then you’re kinda in luck. While it’s not the same as seeing the band in person, they’re releasing a live album and concert film for the masses.
Set for release on June 27 via Sargent House, 061524 documents the band’s gig at Seattle’s Showbox on June 15, 2024. Not only is the album’s title the show’s date, but it also marks 22 years after their farewell show at the very same venue. It’s a perfect circle kinda moment.
To celebrate the coming live album, the band released a track from the recording with “To Our Friends in the Great White North”. And as you can see in the video below, the show was fucking wild. Bodies floating atop their fellow concert, dudes getting up on stage only to dive into the crowd. It looks like a wild show.
If getting to witness Botch live from the comfort of your own home sounds like a hell of an opportunity, or you just want to relive a wild night, be sure to pre-order yourself a copy today.
