Metallica Announces 2026 UK and EU Tour Dates
Having started all the way back in April 2023, Metallica’s record-breaking ‘M72 World Tour’ has to be up there as one of the longest running metal tours in recent history. And just when you thought it couldn’t get any longer, the band has announced an extensive string of U.K. and European live dates to extend the run into 2026.
This particular leg of the world tour will kick off on May 9, 2026 in Athens, Greece and come to a close on July 5 in London. Joining them throughout are French heavy metal icons Gojira, Kentucky hardcore dudes Knocked Loose, groove metallers Pantera, and Swedish prog-metal quintet Avatar for select dates.
For the M72 World Tour 2026 live dates, Metallica will also continue their ‘No Repeat Weekend’ tradition, where each night of the two-show stands will have completely different setlists and support lineups.
As for added extras, fans will once again have the option to pay more for a production and stage tour, snake pit tickets, meet and greets, and so on.
General sale tickets will be available from May 30 at 10 a.m. local time. Members of the band’s fan club, however, will have access to a special pre-sale that launches May 27 at 11 a.m. local time. You can find the full list of dates below.
