URNE Summons You to “Harken The Waves” in New Single

0

Dark, mythical and enchanting. This is your chance to consider “Harken The Waves” as the soundtrack to your villain origin story.

UK metal threesome URNE unleash a twisted psyche in their brand-new single, “Harken The Waves.” The track is shared with an accompanying visualizer of trance-like graphics. I certainly wouldn’t advise watching it while under the influence.

“Harken The Waves” also features special guest Troy Sanders (Mastodon) for some additional vocals. For just short of 10 minutes in length, it’s fair to say that when you stream this one, you’re entering a journey. And for real music fans, a song this long is a blessing. For those with slightly shorter attention spans, we can assure you that the time flies by.

Commenting on their new single, URNE vocalist and bassist Joe Nally shares,

“We feel this is one of the best songs we’ve ever written. On top of that, we were lucky enough to have Grammy-winning metal icon Troy Sanders, from the legendary Mastodon, lend his vocal talents. We’ve grown up listening to Troy and watching Troylive, so having someone like him not only appear, but take on such a significant role in the song, elevating it to another level, means a lot.”

In other URNE news, from September 13, the group will embark on a short string of headline tour dates. Following that, they’re hitting the road to support stoner metal legends, Orange Goblin, on tour. You can check out the full list of dates below.
