Ho99o9 Announce New Album ‘Tomorrow We Escape’, Single “Upside Down” Streaming Now

Earlier today, the multi-faceted, genre-fluid duo Ho99o9 announced they had a new album coming in the next couple months titled Tomorrow We Escape. It’s their first full-length in a few years and to celebrate the announcement, they released the album’s lead single “Upside Down.”

If you’re familiar with these New Jersey-natives, then you know the tunes they put out defy classification. “Upside Down” is no different. Normally I’d try to explain what it sounds like, but it’s actually kinda hard to do so without sounding hacky.

Instead, I’ll let TheOGM explain what went into the making of Tomorrow We Escape:

“When we started this process, we knew we wanted to make more relatable songs. It was a healthy challenge to focus on emotion. In the past, a lot of our material was politically charged. That element is present to a degree, but we wanted to take a more personal route. This mindset drove how we wrote songs. Everybody has a struggle. The goal is to find motivation for preservation.”

Tomorrow We Escape will be released on September 9, but you can preorder your copy today. The band’s also going to hitting the stage later this summer, but only in Australia with The Dillinger Escape Plan. Those dates are listed below.
