Torche Add More Reunion Shows in the U.K.

We may not know who’s actually in Torche at this point, but after learning last month that they were reuniting following three years away, we’re stoked as hell to learn what’s new with the band. And while the initial announcement for for a single show in London this coming September, they’ve added even more live dates for our limey friends across the pond.

In addition to the previously announced London show with Cave In and Toru on September 10, Torche added shows for the following four days. From September 11 to 14, they’ll play a show each day at different venues, with Helms Alee and Omo serving as support for all but the September 13 show.

There’s no word as far as who’ll be in the band. The last time we saw Torche, they were comprised of guitarist and vocalist Steve Brooks, guitarist Jon Nuñez, bassist Eric Hernandez, and drummer Rick Smith. Whether that’s the lineup we’re getting when they reunite has yet to be seen. It should be noted that the band’s been sharing band photos similar to the one posted above to promote the upcoming reunion shows, so I’m willing to bet that’s the lineup.

As to whether they’ll bring the reunion fun times back to North America, but one can certainly dream. At this point, however, Torche is seemingly content with just five shows in the U.K. If that changes, we’ll be sure to share the details with you all.
