Car Bomb Unleashes Disruptive New Single “Paroxysm”
Disorienting blastbeats, annihilating noodles, and hellish gnarls from vocalist Michael Dafferner. Everything about Car Bomb’s fresh new single “Paroxysm” is a cause for pure disruption.
Out today, this track is an experimental release shared with a trippy (albeit AI-looking) music video. According to Dafferner, the track tackles “the never-ending struggle with power and control.” Car Bomb guitarist Greg Kubacki adds:
“This is our first release since before COVID and we really tried to put our 100% into these songs.”
“Paraoxysm” is the first offering taken from the band’s forthcoming Tiles Whisper Dreams EP. This record is the first piece of material from Car Bomb since their monumental 2019 studio album Mordial. Tiles Whisper Dream EP officially comes out on August 1, but you can pre-order it here.
In August, Car Bomb are set to embark on a UK and EU tour with dates alongside Gojira, Between the Buried and Me and Imperial Triumphant. You can find the full list of shows below.
