King Yosef Drops New Single “Molting Fear”, Details New Album ‘Spire of Fear’

Are you scared? Do you have fear? Industrial-hardcore motherfucker King Yosef is hoping you have plenty of the latter, as their new album Spire Of Fear will be released on August 15 via Bleakhouse. And to amp up the fright, the album’s first track “Molting Fear” is out on streaming platforms everywhere. Sensing a theme yet?

Dark, heavy, discordant, the new track certainly hits hard. It’s a hell of an opening salvo for the new record, which promises 11 new tracks when it’s finally released. King Yosef himself, Tayves Yosef Pelletier, said “Molting Fear” was the sort of song he hoped would kick off moshes at live events.

“The idea of this song was to try to push the King Yosef thing as far as I possibly could, without any guitars. There’s no traditional instrumentation on this, other than drums. I wanted to make something where it got bigger in a shorter span of time than anything I’ve done before. It was about blurring the lines of ‘what is this instrument, what is that sound,’ and taking it to a very terrifying place.”

Spire of Fear will be released on August 15 via Bleakhouse, but you can preorder your copy today.
